BMW Group India Achieves Record Sales Growth: Best Year to Date in 2024

BMW Group India is on the fast track to success with its best-ever year-to-date car sales in 2024. This milestone is significant as it represents a 10% growth in sales from January to September, marking a period of outstanding performance for the luxury automotive giant.

Record Car and Motorcycle Deliveries

In the first three quarters of 2024, BMW Group India has delivered 10,556 cars (including both BMW and MINI brands) and 5,638 motorcycles (BMW Motorrad). Breaking this down:

  • BMW Cars Sold: 10,056 units
  • MINI Cars Sold: 500 units

This impressive sales figure demonstrates the popularity of BMW and MINI in India and showcases the brand’s commitment to delivering high-quality vehicles.

Leadership Insights

Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of BMW Group India, emphasised the synergy between strategic planning and exceptional customer experience. According to him, the record deliveries this year reflect how the brand is “changing the game” with its long wheelbase product portfolio and a robust push into electric mobility.

Key Models Driving Sales

The success can be attributed to key models like:

  • BMW 7 Series Long Wheelbase
  • BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase
  • BMW X1

The new BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase is already showing overwhelming demand, with over 300 units sold and more than 600 units on order.

The Impact of BMW Joy Days

The BMW Joy Days initiative coincided with the festive season, providing a significant boost to sales performance. This event allows customers to explore various models and take advantage of exclusive offers, further driving demand.

Electric Vehicles Taking Charge

In the realm of electric mobility, BMW Group India is leading with its extensive range of electric vehicles (EVs).

  • Total EV Deliveries: 725 fully electric BMW and MINI cars delivered in 2024.

These initiatives not only enhance the customer experience but also instill trust in electric mobility services offered by BMW and MINI.
