What is Project FLUX?

The FLUX project brings together renowned organisations including Labin Art Express from Istria, MEET Digital Culture Centre from Milan, MOTA Museum of Transitory Art from Ljubljana, and Alice in Blockchains from Zagreb. The project aims to provide female artists with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to excel in the digital art space.
Alice in Blockchains: A Pioneer in Digital Art
Alice in Blockchains, a nonprofit women’s association focused on fintech, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain, is at the heart of this initiative. Last year, they introduced NFTs to the public at the Web3 Tales conference, featuring the first international NFT exhibition in Croatia. This year, they’re expanding their efforts by launching a free Blockchain Art Academy.
What is the Blockchain Art Academy?
An Online Educational Experience
The Blockchain Art Academy is an online programme running from October 14 to 18, 2024. It offers 10 educational sessions, including lectures and workshops, aimed at empowering female artists, graphic designers, and photographers from across Europe.
Comprehensive Learning Opportunities
The academy will connect 90 female artists with mentors experienced in blockchain, art, marketing, and strategic planning. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of how to leverage blockchain technology for digital art. Successful participants will have the chance to exhibit their work in 2025 across three European cities: Milan, Ljubljana, and Labin.
