The 2024 Republican National Convention is almost here, and Milwaukee has been buzzing with preparations since December 2022. With just a week to go, the official schedule of events for delegates, politicians, media members, and volunteers has been released. If you’re involved, here’s what you need to know.

What to Expect at the Republican National Convention

Kickoff Events and Key Highlights

Events kick off on Sunday, July 14th, with the exclusive “Red, White and Brew” party at the Henry Maier Festival Park. The main convention runs from Monday, July 15th to Thursday, July 18th. Here’s a breakdown of the week:

  • Sunday Evening: Invite-only “Red, White and Brew” party.
  • Monday to Thursday: Official sessions, affinity group receptions, and special presentations.
  • Daily Events: Hosted by various groups, including Moms for Liberty, the American Jewish Committee, and the European Union.
  • Film Screenings: “Reagan,” “Theocracy of Terror: Murder, Oppression & the Rise of Iran’s Political Regime,” and “Trump’s Rescue Mission: Saving America.”

Night Events and Parties

Expect to stay late, with parties hosted by:

  • Red, White and Blue Bar
  • State delegations
  • Association of Equipment Manufacturers
  • Black Conservative Federation

Catch the convention action at the Drink Wisconsinbly Pub, 320 W. Highland Avenue, across from Fiserv Forum.
